Hello and welcome.

When I first started this site, I had just released my novel “Vision Speak”.  I imagined that this blog would be the vehicle for sharing my journey of releasing and promoting the book and perhaps writing the next one.  As time went on, my topics became more reflective and personal.  A large percentage of  my posts are now exploratory on the subjects of quantum consciousness, new age spirituality, reflections on life and death and conscious evolution.

Meanwhile, in the Fall of 2010, I ended my publishing contract with an organization that many view to be corrupt and I re-released “Vision Speak” myself via Future Day.  And, I began to explore new mediums for creative expression – video and photography.

In addition to being an author, I’ve had a busy career in the software industry and raised three young men.  Having just moved on after 21 years with one company including 12 years on the executive team, I am in the process of creating what’s next, likely involving technology consulting while I continue to educate myself and complete projects in the areas of writing, digital film-making, and photography.  Given the rapid evolution of information technology with social media, cloud computing, online and mobile connectivity with new mediums for communication where we exchange video and pictures as easily as words, I expect that my creative pursuits and my more practical experience and knowledge in the areas of application solution delivery in the software industry may complement each other.

As my background and pursuits are varied, you may find the content of this blog to be so.   Now that I am more immersed in digital visual exploration, I will endeavour to make blogs in 2012 more multi-media than in the past.  At times, I have had a guest blogger – Susan James – so she or other suitable writers may contribute from time to time.

Background on Vision Speak:

“Vision Speak” was my second novel but the first one unleashed on the world.   This story is a scifi mystery, centered on a gifted young woman whose evolving consciousness becomes a threat to her society while holding the key to humanity’s future.  A number of thought leaders influenced this story, including the wisdom of Joseph Campbell and Jung’s theories on the collective unconscious.

I have begun a sequel to “Vision Speak” which explores themes involving New Age spirituality, quantum consciousness and the future of humanity.

While I strive to entertain and provide thought-provoking stories, they also serve me on my journey to grow both personally and spiritually and I hope that this comes through in my writing.  ♥
