Urban Canada – Award from Canadian Geographic

On the Move in TO

This image was the runner-up (2nd Place) in the 2015 Canadian Geographic Annual Photo Competition in the Urban Canada category.

It was taken at twilight on the last day of the Labour Day weekend in Toronto when all the cottagers were coming home.

All the winners are displayed here.

Moving, BMFA … and a few shots

After over 20 years, we’ve made the big move out of our home in Aurora into a condo in Toronto.  This and some other challenges (RA and a camera breakdown) have led to less photographs than usual for me lately.  However, for my birthday, I splurged and bought myself the Canon 7D Mark II so I hope the draught will end soon.. especially with the amazing view from the new condo.

I also have taken the role of Chair of the Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts, Juried Photo Show which has absorbed more time than I had anticipated.  More on this soon but if you’re into photography, check it out and submit some of your images! 🙂

 Here’s a few from July.
